The Official Animal Rights March (OARM) returns for its tenth consecutive year in 2025, with coordinated marches planned across more than 30 cities worldwide. From London to Los Angeles, activists united by one simple message — end animal exploitation — will march peacefully through city centres.

Why We March

Over 80 billion land animals are killed for food every year. Billions more are used in laboratories, clothing production and entertainment. The march exists to make these numbers visible — to give a face and a voice to those who have none.

What the March Looks Like

Participants carry photographs of farmed and captive animals. The march is intentionally silent for its first kilometre, allowing the imagery to speak. Speakers then address the crowd at the rally point, sharing personal stories of going vegan and advocating for legislative change.

2025 Route Highlights

In London, the route will pass the Houses of Parliament — a deliberate choice, given pending amendments to the Animal Welfare Act. In New York, the march will conclude at Union Square for a free community meal prepared entirely from plant-based ingredients.

How to Register

Registration is free and available through the OARM website. Volunteers are needed for route marshalling, first aid, media liaison and leaflet distribution. Every role matters.
